Holy Cross Field Hockey Announces 2009 Freshman Class

WORCESTER, Mass. - Holy Cross head field hockey coach Alicia Hawk has announced the 2009 freshman class for the Crusaders. Emily Allen (Lee, N.H.), Megan Bourne (Lake Forest, Ill.), Courtney Downes (Hanover, N.J.), Kelsey Horton (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.), Lizzie McManus (Havertown, Pa.), Ali Shutt (Wayne, Pa.) and Kelly Sotsky (Wayne, N.J.) will join the Holy Cross field hockey program for the 2009-2010 academic year.

"I am extremely pleased with the potential in this incoming class," says Hawk. "Each player will bring a lot of depth to our program. They are hard working, athletic and smart. Their versatility is also a tremendous asset, they'll make our program that much more competitive from within."
