WORCESTER, Mass. - Freshman guard Bethany O'Dell (Lincoln, R.I.) was named Patriot League Baden Rookie of the Week for the fourth time after matching her career-high 24 points in the Holy Cross women's basketball 77-45 victory over Lafayette last week.
O'Dell led the team to its third straight win scoring a team-high and matching her career-high of 24 points. She shot 72.7 percent from the field including five from the three-point range. O'Dell also recorded two assists and one steal in the Crusaders only game of the week.
Senior guard Brittany Keil (Sparta, N.J.) and freshmen Briana McFadden (Wheaton, Md.) both received honorable mention from the league this week. Keil grabbed 10 rebounds against Lafayette and went four for four from the stripe while McFadden tallied a career-high 20 points and connected on three from the three-point range.
With just six regular-season games remaining, Holy Cross will travel to West Point, N.Y. to face Army, Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. After Army, the Crusaders have two more games on the road before returning home to host American Saturday, February 17 at 1:00 p.m.
