WORCESTER, Mass. - Amanda Brown scored a team-high 20 points as the Bucknell women's basketball team defeated Holy Cross 63-50 in Patriot League action Saturday afternoon at the Hart Center. Bucknell scored the first six points of the game to jump out to an early lead. Holy Cross retaliated with a 7-2 run to make it a one point ball game (8-7), but the Bison went on another 5-0 streak to go ahead by seven, 14-7. This was as close as the Crusaders came to the Bison in the second half as Bucknell gained as much as a 17 point lead and did not allow the Crusaders to come any closer than seven in the last 12:41 minutes of the game.

Briana McFadden (Wheaton, Md.) and Ashley McLaughlin (Andover, Mass.) led the Crusaders with 13 points each and Brittany Keil added 10 points. Foster led the Bison with 20 points while Lindsey Hollobaugh had 19 points.
