Morgan Valley is now in her second full season as assistant women's basketball coach at Holy Cross. Valley came to Mount St. James after spending the 2004-05 season as a student assistant on the Connecticut women's basketball staff. While at UConn, Valley edited game and practice film and was in charge of film exchange. She also scouted talent and prepared scout tapes on the Huskies' opponents. In 2004, Valley was the Director of the Basketball Hall of Fame clinics in Springfield, Mass., where she managed and coordinated the daily agendas of campers and staff members during a series of six clinics. She also served as the co-director of the Valley and Valley Girls Basketball Camp in Burlington, Vt., where she facilitated the daily activities of all campers. Valley has also been both a commissioner and a counselor at the Geno Auriemma Girls Basketball Camp in Storrs, Conn., overseeing and directing more than 200 campers in basketball skills and other activities. A native of Vermont, Valley graduated from Connecticut in 2005. She was a four-year letterwinner with the Huskies from 2001-2004 and was a part of three NCAA National Championship teams. In her four years at UConn, the Huskies' compiled a record of 139-8. In 2001 she was a member of the All-Big East Travel Team. Valley resides in Worcester.
