Anna Kinne
College: Holy Cross, 2000
Position: Assistant Coach
Anna Kinne enters her fifth season as a member of the Holy Cross coaching staff. Kinne, no stranger to the women's basketball program, works primarily with the guards while handling travel plans and assisting with game/practice preparation. Kinne returned to her alma mater after a successful collegiate career that ranks her 10th on HC's all-time career scoring list with 1,234 points. The Great Barrington, Mass., native earned All-Patriot League honors three times while capturing Most Valuable Player Honors as a senior. She holds school records for steals (333), three-pointers made (163) and attempted (521). Kinne is the only Holy Cross women's player to record 1000 career points and 500 career assists. She teamed with backcourt mate Veronica Jutras to lead the Crusaders to a 88-28 record, including 51-5 in the Patriot League and three straight Championships/NCAA Tournaments. Kinne graduated from Holy Cross in 2000 with a degree in Sociology. According to Coach Gibbons, "Anna's passion for and committment to their program is unmatched. Coach Kinne is one of the best ever to don the purple and white and she bleeds purple. Anna has grown and matured as a coach and has handled added responsibilities each and every year with us. She knows me and what is needed and expected by the players for us to be successful. I will lean heavily on Anna in all areas this season. She epitomizes what this program is about...and I am very proud of the way she has represented Holy Cross Women's Basketball as a player and coach over the past nine years."
