WORCESTER, Mass. – Brittany Keil, a former Holy Cross women's basketball standout, has been named the new assistant strength and conditioning coach at the College of the Holy Cross, announced by head strength and conditioning coach Jeff Oliver and athletic director Richard M. Regan, Jr. Keil will work directly with the Crusader men's and women's basketball, men's and women's lacrosse, baseball, softball, field hockey, volleyball, women's tennis, cross country and track & field squads.
Prior to joining Holy Cross, Keil served as the coaching director at the Be Athletic Sports Performance Program in Worcester, Mass. While there, Keil oversaw the organization of workouts and assisted with program design. She also served as the strength and conditioning coaching assistant at Harvard, working directly with the women's crew, women's soccer, alpine skiing, diving, fencing, cross country and golf teams.
Keil is a 2007 graduate of Holy Cross with a bachelor's degree in biology. She was a four year starter and a 1,000-point scorer for the Crusaders, serving as tri-captain during the 2006-2007 season. She was named second team All-Patriot League and the Patriot League Women's Basketball Scholar Athlete of the Year in 2006 and played on two teams that made appearances in the NCAA Tournament (2005, 2007).
