CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - The Holy Cross men's cross country team placed eight student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the conference office.
Leading the list of Crusaders was freshman Brad Mish (Hadley, Mass.), who earned a 3.68 grade-point average as an economics and accounting major.
Joining Mish on the Men's Cross Country Academic Honor Roll are senior Matthew Michienzi (Woburn, Mass.), juniors Stephen Kress (Portland, Maine) and John Ortolani (Williamsville, N.Y.), and freshmen Robert Farrelly (East Northport, N.Y.), Brian Miller (Wayne, N.J.), Stephen Schoenberger (North Hampton, N.H.) and Matthew Talbot (West Hempstead, N.Y.).
A total of 65 student-athletes were named to the Men's Cross Country Honor Roll. Leading the Patriot League was Bucknell with 17 members. Army had 12 recipients, while American had 10. Tied with Holy Cross for fourth was Lehigh with eight. Rounding out the field were Colgate (five), Navy (three) and Lafayette (two).
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the fall semester and be awarded a varsity letter in one of the seven Patriot League sponsored fall championship sports.
