Holy Cross Men's Cross Country Runs At IC4A Championship

BRONX, N.Y. - The Holy Cross men's cross country team completed the 2008 season at the IC4A Championship in Bronx, N.Y. on Saturday, Nov. 22. Freshman Dan Altenau (Eastchester, N.Y.) led the Crusaders in the five mile run with an 80th place finish and a time of 27:13. Fellow freshman Cory Loftis (Branford, Conn.) completed the course in 27:29, while freshman Alex Dobens (Kansas City, Mo.) finished with a time of 29:00. Freshman Stephen Madsen (New Providence, N.J.) was the final Crusader to cross the line at the 30:00 mark.

The IC4A Championship was the final race in a successful season. Holy Cross competed in eight races and had three Student-Athletes earn Patriot League weekly honors.
