Men's Cross Country Concludes 2011 Season

  • The Holy Cross men's cross country team wrapped up the 2011 season with competition at the IC4A Championship on Saturday, Nov. 19 in Bronx, N.Y.
  • At the IC4A Championship, freshman Joseph Seebode (Clark, N.J.) was the first Crusader to cross the finish line in 109th place with a time of 29:15. This was Seebode's first top finish as a Crusader. 
  • Senior Dan Altenau (Eastchester, N.Y.) was the first Crusader to cross the finish line in four of the five races he competed in this season. Stemming back to last season, Altenau was Holy Cross' top performer in nine of his last 11 races.
  • Senior Cory Loftis (Branford, Conn.) led the Crusader runners at this year's Patriot League Championship with a 29th place finish in a time of 26:16.8.
  • Seniors Altenau, Loftis and Stephen Madsen (New Providence, N.J.) concluded their careers on the cross country course for Holy Cross, but all three will compete as members of the Holy Cross track and field team this winter and spring.
