Men's Cross Country Finishes Eighth At Patriot League Championship

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Holy Cross men's cross country team placed eighth out of eight teams at the 2011 Patriot League Championship held at Lehigh with 215 points. Navy won the team championship with 38 points and Colgate's Christopher Johnson took the individual title with a time of 24:53.90 on the 8k course.

Senior Cory Loftis (Branford, Conn.) led the Crusaders with a 29th place finish (26:16.80). Senior Dan Altenau (Eastchester, N.Y.) recorded a 34th place finish (26:23.70) which was the second best time for the Crusaders.

The Crusaders return to action at the NCAA Northeast Regional on Saturday, Nov. 12 at 11:00 a.m.
