Holy Cross Men’s Cross Country Races At Blue Devil Invitational

New Britain, Conn. – The Holy Cross men's cross country team finished seventh out of nine teams at the Blue Devil Invitational Saturday afternoon in New Britain, Conn. Senior Chris Bergan (Shrewsbury, Mass.) led the Crusaders with a 15th place overall finish with a time of 27:07.

Freshman Zach Maddigan (Middleboro, Mass.) was the second Crusader to cross the line with a 29th place finish and time of 27:46. Freshman Dylan Villescas (Las Cruces, N.M.) finished 45th with a time of 28:26, sophomore Brian Treadway (Albany, N.Y.) finished 46th with a time of 28:29 and freshman Nick Petsky (Manorville, N.Y.) rounded out Holy Cross' top five with a 50th place finish and time of 28:29.

Holy Cross continues competition at the National Catholic Championship on Sept. 17 and the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational on Sept. 18.
