WORCESTER, Mass. - Holy Cross athletic director Richard M. Regan, Jr. and head men's track and field coach Jim Kavanagh have announced the Crusaders' 2008-2009 indoor track and field schedule. Holy Cross will begin competition on Saturday, Dec. 6 at the Alden Invitational in Providence, R.I.
The Crusaders will travel into Boston on Saturday, Dec. 13 for the Harvard Invitational and then complete the 2008 portion of the schedule at the Boston University Mini Series on Saturday, Dec. 20 and 27. After the New Year the Crusaders will return to Boston University for the final Mini Series on Saturday, Jan. 3.
The Crusaders will compete in the Coaches Collegiate and the Yale Invitational on Jan. 9 and the Crowell Invitational and the Yale Invitational on Jan. 10. Holy Cross will travel to the University of New Hampshire on Saturday, Jan. 17 and then participate in the Boston Indoor Games on Friday, Jan. 23. On Friday, Jan. 30 Holy Cross will compete in the Rhody Mega Meet in Kingston, R.I. before traveling to Maine on Friday, Feb.6. The Crusaders will return to Boston for the Valentine Invitational at Boston University on Feb. 13-14.
The Patriot League Championships will be held on Feb. 20-22 in Annapolis, Md. Holy Cross will compete in the New England Championships at Boston University on Feb. 27-28 and in the ECAC Championships March 6-8. The Crusaders will complete the 2008-2009 indoor season at the NCAA Championships on March 13-15.
