Nathaniel Couture Earns All-Patriot League Honors

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Holy Cross junior Nathaniel Couture (Taunton, Mass.) has been named second team All-Patriot League in men's track and field, it was announced by the conference office this afternoon. Couture was the only Crusader to earn All-Patriot League honors.

At the 2007 Patriot League outdoor championship, held last weekend in Bethlehem, Pa., he placed second in the javelin with a throw of 61.79m (202 feet 9 inches). Couture earned eight points toward the Crusader total with that performance.

Couture had previously qualified for the New England Championship (May 10-12 in Hanover, N.H.) and the NCAA East Regional (May 25-26 in Gainesville, Fl.a) with a throw of 63.02m (206 feet 9 inches) at the Colonial Relays on April 6.
