WORCESTER, Mass. - Senior Brad Mish (Hadley, Mass.) has been named the AT&T Crusader of the Week, for competition from February 23-March 1. Mish led the Holy Cross men's indoor track and field team to a 17th place finish at the 2009 New England Championship in Boston, Mass.
At the New England Championship, Mish finished in first place in the 5,000-meter run, with a season-best time of 14:35.70. He becomes the first Crusader to win an event at the New England Indoor Championship since 1995, and is the first Holy Cross runner to ever claim the 5,000-meter title. Mish's time of 14:35,70 also qualifies him to run at the 2009 IC4A Championship.
The Crusaders return to action on Saturday and Sunday, March 7 and 8, when select individuals will take part in the IC4A Championship.
