Holy Cross Prepares For Maine Open

  • The Crusaders finished ninth out of 13 teams, with 44 points, at the Reebok Boston Indoor games.

  • At the Reebok Indoor Games, Holy Cross was led by seniors. Senior Sebastian Fidelus (Jersey City, N.J.) finished first in the 800 meter run with a time of 1:55.50, while senior Brad Mish (Hadley, Mass.) finished second in the 5000 meter run with a time of 14:51.11 and senior Jonathan Medeiros (New Bedford, Mass.) took second in the shot put with a throw of 15.01 meters.

  • Holy Cross travels to Orono, Maine on Saturday, Feb. 7 for an 11:00 a.m. start at the Maine Open.

  • Last season at the Maine Open, Holy Cross finished first with 120 points, Central Connecticut took second with 110 points and Maine finished third with 106 points. Fidelus took first in the 800 meter run with a time of 1.58.92, while junior Timothy Richard (Attleboro, Mass.) took first in the 3000 meter run with a time of 8:58.64.
