Cambridge, Mass. - The Holy Cross men's and women's indoor track and field teams competed at the Harvard Invitational on Saturday, Dec. 11, at the Gordon Track.
Senior Lindsay Bomar (Bristol, Conn.) finished fourth in the women's one mile run with a time of 5:15.59. Not far behind Bomar was senior Elizabeth Corridan (Holliston, Mass.), who finished with a time of 5:30.21, for eighth-place.
In the men's 5,000 meter run, senior James McKeon (Belle Harbor, N.Y.) placed 12th with a time of 16:41.81.
Senior Julie Brennan ( Pembroke , Mass. ) finished the women's 800 meter run with a time of 2:30.27 for 13th.
In the women's pole vault, junior Courtney Walls (Tewksbury, Mass.) cleared 3.20 meters to finish fourth. Senior Kaitlin Palmer (Hampton , N.H.) placed seventh, clearing 3.05 meters.
Freshman Lynn Barowski (Merrimack, N.H.) leaped 4.97 meters in the women's long jump to place 10th.
Freshman Christie LeTarte (Lunenburg, Mass.) finished 14th in the women's weight throw after heaving 10.14 meters. In the men's division, junior Stephen Laney (Cohasset, Mass.) placed 11th with a distance of 12.02 meters.
The Crusaders next compete at the first of three BU Mini Series on Saturday, Dec. 18 in Boston, Mass.
