Durham, N.H. - The Holy Cross men's track and field team competed at the UNH Wildcat Invitational II on Saturday.
Senior James Clifford (Haworth, N.J.) ran a season's best by over 10 seconds in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:08.77.
In the high jump, junior Daniel Ryan (East Hempstead, N.H.) leaped a season's best with a height of 6'03". Ryan also competed in the triple jump and placed third, clearing 40'06.25".
Returning to competition was sophomore Christopher Bier (Rockville Centre, N.Y.), who placed sixth in the both the 100-m the 400-m hurdles, with times of 16.69 and 58.42, respectively.
Sophomore Nicholas Carr (Concord, Mass.) threw a personal-best in the shot put after heaving 40'08.75".
Running a personal-best in the 5,000-m was senior James McKeon (Belle Harbor, N.Y.), who placed eighth with a time of 16:17.10.
The Crusaders next host the Holy Cross invitational on Saturday, April 23 at the Hart Track and Field complex.
