Durham, N.H. - The men's track and field team traveled to New Hampshire to compete in the Wildcat Invitational hosted by the University of New Hampshire. The Crusaders had 40 top 10 finishes, with 11 individuals placing in the top five.
Placing first in their events were Andrew Maggio (Chelmsford, Mass.) in the 400-meter dash with a time of 50.35, Kevin Dowd (Broad Brook, Conn.) in the triple jump with a distance of 41'11.5" and Andrew Veale (West Hartford, Conn.) in the javelin with a toss of 168'9".
Second place finishers included Michael Ricotta (Cross River, N.Y.) in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.32, and Jonathan Medeiros (New Bedford, Mass.) in both the discus with a toss of 137'9", and the shot put with a toss of 47'1".
The Crusaders compete again April 12 at the Bernard Solomon Invitational held in Dedham, Mass. Start time is set for 10:00 a.m.
