Holy Cross Competes at Reebok Indoor Games

Boston, Mass. - The Holy Cross men's indoor track and field and placed 14th at the Reebok Indoor Games hosted by Northeastern University on Friday, Jan. 28 at the Reggie Lewis Center.

Senior John Nieskens (Peterbough, N.H.) placed sixth in the 5,000 meter run with a time of 15:06.00, grabbing three points for the Crusaders.

In the weight throw, sophomore Nicholas Carr (Concord, Mass.) finished sixth after heaving it 15.18 meters to post three points.

The 4x400 meter relay team, composed of juniors Patrick Jones (Danvers, Mass.), Christopher Morris (Old Brookville, N.Y.), Robert Leader (Leominster, Mass.) and Thomas Picanco (Cameron Park, Calif.), placed seventh with a time of 3:24.32, registering two points toward the team total.

The Crusaders next compete at Maine on Saturday, Feb. 5.
