Crusaders Compete At Reebok Indoor Games

BOSTON, Mass. - Senior Sebastian Fidelus (Jersey City, N.J.) led the Crusaders with a first place finish in the 800 meter run as the Holy Cross men's track and field team competed at the Reebok Boston Indoor Games at the Reggie Lewis Track and Field Center on Friday evening. Holy Cross finished ninth out of 13 with 44 points.

Fidelus took first in the 800 meter run with a time of 1:55.50. Senior Brad Mish (Hadley, Mass.) finished second in the 5000 meter run with a time of 14:51.11.

In the field events, senior Jonathan Medeiros (New Bedford, Mass.) took second in the shot put with a throw of 15.01 meters. Senior Stephen Mandravelis (Nashua, N.H.) finished third in the weight throw with a distance of 15.70 meters.

The Crusaders compete again, traveling to Orono, Maine for the Maine Open on Saturday, Feb. 7 at 11:00 a.m.
