Men's Track & Field Competes At NYC Gotham Cup & Yale Invitational

WORCESTER, Mass. – The men's indoor track and field team sent three student-athletes to two different meets this weekend as seniors Tim Moczula (Edison, N.J.) and Thomas St. Cyr (Temple, N.H.) participated in the NYC Gotham Cup in New York, N.Y. while senior Paul Coulter (Lakeville, Mass.) traveled to the Yale Invitational in New Haven, Conn.

Moczula led the Crusaders with a seventh place finish in the finals of the 60-meter hurdles. He crossed the finish line in a career-fastest time of 8.37 seconds. St. Cyr represented Holy Cross in both the 60-meter dash and 60-meter hurdles.

Coulter finished 10th with a time of 8.65 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles at Yale, missing his career-fastest mark by just one one-hundredth of a second. He also ran in the 60-meter dash.

The Holy Cross men's indoor track and field team will return to full team competition next weekend on Saturday, Jan. 18, at New Hampshire. The dual meet at the Paul Sweet Oval is scheduled to begin at 12:00 p.m.
