EASTON, Mass – Freshman Tim Dunn (Fords, N.J.) posted the top Crusaders finish as the men's track and field team completed day one of team competition at the 2013 New England Outdoor Championship on Friday, hosted by Stonehill. Dunn finished in 12th place in the pole vault at a height of 4.50 meters.
Sophomore Mike Galasso (Danvers, Mass.) took 16th in the 400-meter dash preliminaries with a time of 49.34, breaking his previous career-best time by .31 seconds. Fellow classmate Vuong Tran (Worcester, Mass.) crossed the finish line fourth in his heat and 21st overall in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.25 seconds.
A trio of athletes competed in the 110-meter dash as the juniors Paul Coulter (Lakeville, Mass.), Thomas St. Cyr (Temple, N.H.) and Tim Moczula (Edison, N.J.) finished with times of 15.97, 16.63 and 18.66, respectively. Junior Dylan Villescas (Las Cruces, N.M.) also competed in the 5,000-meter run and finished with a time of 16:08.31.
