CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Sophomore Trevor Dutton (Burlington, Mass.) finished second in the 500-meter dash with a time of 1:06.19 as the Holy Cross men's indoor track and field team competed in the Harvard Open on Saturday in Cambridge, Mass. Freshman Lucas Keefer (Yonkers, N.Y.) finished behind Dutton with a time of 1:07.99 for the top rookie finish for the Crusaders.
Other top performers for Holy Cross included junior Nick Petsky (Manorville, N.Y) who landed 10th in the 600-meter run with a time of 1:25.14. Junior Ross Davies (Salem, N.H.) took 11th in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.77 and senior Nick Poles (Quincy, Mass.) finished behind Dutton and Keefer in the 500-meter in 13th place with a time of 1:08.26.
In the field events, freshman Tim Dunn (Fords, N.J.) led the way for the Crusaders with a 21st place finish in the pole vault with a height of 3.80 meters. Fellow classmate Rob Cacace (Yonkers, N.Y.) competed in the shot put and long jump and finished with a throw of 11.60 meters and jump of 5.81 meters.
The men's indoor track and field team will return to action on Saturday, Dec. 15, at the first of three Boston University Mini Meets at 10:00 a.m.
