WORCESTER, Mass. – Sophomore Trevor Dutton (Burlington, Mass.) has been named M-F Athletic Patriot League Male Track Athlete of the Week for his performance last weekend at the Harvard Open (12/8), as announced by the league. Dutton finished in second place in the 500-meter dash with a time of 1:06.19.
Dutton competed in the 500-meter dash for the first time in collegiate career, finishing behind Rhode Island's Zach Campo by 95 one-hundredths of a second. His time was within a second of the IC4A standard. Dutton becomes the first Holy Cross men's track and field athlete to win M-F Athletic Male Track Athlete of the Week since the 2008-2009 season.
The Holy Cross men's indoor track and field will return to competition on Saturday, Dec. 15, at the Boston University Mini Meet at 10:00 a.m.
