2012: Ran in the 500, 800, 1,000, 1,500, one-mile, 4x400 relay and 4x800 relay … set a season-best time in the one-mile (4:57.36) at the Harvard Open (Dec. 10) … posted career-best times in the 500 (1:08.42) against Maine (Feb. 4), 800 (1:55.07) at the second Holy Cross Invitational (April 24), 1,000 (2:39.09) at New Hampshire with Stonehill and Worcester State (Jan. 21) and 1,500 (4:02.18) at the first Holy Cross Invitational (April 21) … member of the 4x800 relay team that set a season-best time of 7:37.64 at the IC4A Indoor Championship (March 3).

2011: Personal-bests with times of 1:56.92 in the 800 meter run at the Patriot League Outdoor Championship (May 14), 2:47.94 in the 1,000 meter run at the Crowell Open (Jan. 8), 1:10.29 in the 500 meter run at the Sorlien Memorial Invitational (Jan. 15), 4:12.59 in the 1,500 meter run at the New Hampshire Invitational (April 9) and 4:57.36 in the mile run at the Harvard Open (Dec. 10) … Part of the 4x880 yard relay team that finished second with a time of 8:24.95 against Maine (Feb. 5).

Before Holy Cross: Member of the varsity cross country team at Iona Preparatory School ... also competed on the indoor and outdoor varsity track and field teams ... member of National Honor Society.  

Personal: Son of Robert and Karen Athanasidy ... has two brothers (Bobby and Christopher) ... majoring in Political Science.
