Men's Track & Field Prepares for Dick Shea Open

  • The men?s track and field team will compete in the Dick Shea Open in West Point, N.Y. this Saturday, March 31. This will the second outdoor meet of the season for the Crusaders and the first time the team will compete at this event.
  • On this weekend last season, the Crusaders competed at the American International Invitational and finished third of seven teams. Seniors Chase Bradford (West Bridgewater, Mass.) and Alex Martin (Sutton, Mass.) led the way for Holy Cross with first place finishes in the javelin thrown and triple jump, respectively. Five individual members of the team recorded top-five finishes and the 4x400 meter relay team finished in third place.
  • The Crusaders opened the spring outdoor track and field season at the Husky Spring Open (3/24) hosted by Northeastern. Senior Chase Bradford (West Bridgewater, Mass.) finished in second place in the javelin throw as the Holy Cross earned six top-five finishes on the day. Sophomore Paul Coulter (Lakeville, Mass.), Moczula and sophomore Thomas St. Cyr (Temple, N.H.) took third, fourth and fifth in the 110 meter hurdles.
