Crusaders Prepared For Harvard Open

Schedule: Saturday, Dec. 10 at Harvard Open, Cambridge, Mass., 10:00 am 

• The Holy Cross men's track and field team will travel to Cambridge, Mass., on Dec. 10 to continue the indoor season at the Harvard Open.
• Last season at the Harvard Open, senior Alex Martin (Sutton, Mass.) led the men's team with an 11th place finish in the triple jump with a distance of 13.42 meters.
• Last weekend at the 2011 Alden Invitational, Martin finished second in the triple jump with a distance of 13.37 meters and ninth in the long jump with a distance of 6.17 meters. Other Crusaders with top 10 finishes included senior Michael Millard (Manhasset, N.Y.) who finished third in the pole vault by clearing a height of 3.75 meters,  freshman Dominic Gerardi (Simsbury, Conn) who finished fifth  in the pole vault by clearing a height of 3.45 meters and sophomore thrower Kyle Carr (Westerly, R.I.) who finished 10th in the shot put with a distance of 11.26 meters.
