- The Holy Cross men's track and field team concluded the indoor season at the IC4A Indoor Championship in Boston, Mass. March 6-7. Senior Timothy Richard (Attleboro, Mass.) competed in the 5,000 for the Crusaders.
- Richard finished the indoor season with a time of 15:00.07 in the 5,000 at the IC4A Championship. Richard’s best time of the season in the 5,000 came the week prior when he finished with a personal-best and team-best time of 14:47.18. At the 2009 Patriot League Indoor Championship, Richard finished the 3,000 with a team-best time of 8:35.91, just six-tenths of a second off his personal-best. Richard also ran a team-best time of 4:24.23 in the one mile at UNH.
- Rookies Charlie Cunningham (Reading, Mass.), Nick Poles (Quincy, Mass.) and John Veltri (West Milford, N.J.) finished the indoor season with top times for the Crusaders. Cunningham hit team-best marks in the 55 meter dash with a time of 6.80 seconds. Poles ran a team-best time of 2:00.41 in the 800 and Veltri finished with team-best times of 8.69 seconds and 9.50 seconds in the 55 and 60 meter hurdles.
- Senior A.J. Malloy (Dunbarton, N.H.) finished the indoor season with personal-best times in the 200 and 55 meter dashes. In the 200, Malloy ran a personal-best time of 23.45 seconds in the 200 at the Boston University Valentine Invitational, while he finished with a personal-best time of 7.07 seconds in the 55 at the Maine Open.
