Holy Cross Men’s Track And Field Falls At Maine, 106-65

ORONO, Maine - The Maine men's track and field team took first in 14 events on its way to a 106-65 defeat over Holy Cross Saturday afternoon in Orono, Maine. The Crusaders had top finishers in three events.

Senior Timothy Richard (Attleboro, Mass.) continued to show his dominance on the track with a first place finish in the 3,000 with a time of 8:42.88. Sophomore Dan Altenau (Eastchester, N.Y.) took first in the one mile with a time of 4:26.58. The Crusaders took the top two spots in the 400, Chase Kennedy (Marblehead, Mass.) in first with a time of 52.95 seconds and junior Connor LaClair (Hyde Park, Vt.) in second place with a time of 54.30 seconds.

The Crusaders will continue indoor action next week at the Valentine Invitational hosted by Boston University on Feb. 13. Racing is set to start at 9:00 a.m.
