Crusaders Set For Boston Indoor Games

- The Holy Cross men's track and field team will continue indoor competition at the Boston Indoor Games at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston, Mass. on Jan. 29. Last season the Crusaders finished 9th out of 13 teams at the event.
- At the 2009 Indoor Games, senior Timothy Richard (Attleboro, Mass.) placed fifth in the 5,000 with a time of 14:56.74, senior Chase Kennedy (Marblehead, Mass.) finished 22nd in the 200 with a time of 23.70 seconds, junior Connor LaClair (Hyde Park, Vt.) finished 17th in the 400 with a time of 53.39 seconds and sophomore Ben Brink (New Rochelle, N.Y.) placed 15th in the one mile with a time of 4:29.67. In the field events, senior Nicholas LeBlanc (New Bedford, Mass.) placed sixth in the shot put with a distance of 14.12 meters and junior Kenneth McKenna (Ossining, N.Y.) placed seventh in the weight throw with a distance of 13.39 meters.
- Last weekend against New Hampshire, the 4x800 relay team of Kennedy, LaClair, freshman Kevin Turner (Charlton, Mass.) and freshman Charlie Cunningham (Reading, Mass.) took first with a time of 8:18.95, while Richard finished second in the one mile with a time of 4:24.23. LaClair placed second in the 400 with a time of 54.64 seconds and Turner took second in the 800 with a time of 2:03.08.
