Holy Cross Men's Tennis Defeated By Boston University, 7-0

WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross men's tennis team fell to Boston University, 7-0, on Saturday, Oct. 18, at the Holy Cross Tennis Courts. With the loss, the Crusaders fall to 1-3, while the Terriers improve to 1-1.

Senior Jay DeSanto (Dalton, Pa.) and sophomore Matt Wierzel (Garden City, N.Y.) fell to Jeff Chudacoff and Miron Nissim in a very close No. 1 doubles match, 8-6, while juniors John Burke (Burlington, Mass.) and Dan Phelan (Chicopee, Mass.) also fell in the No. 2 doubles match to Tim Sichler and Bill Kring, 8-6. In the No. 2 singles match, Burke lost in a close match with Nissim, 7-5, 6-3.

The Crusaders have concluded the fall season.
