Holy Cross Men's Tennis Drops Match To Lafayette

West Point, N.Y. - The men's tennis concluded their weekend at West Point, N.Y., with a conference match against Lafayette. The Crusaders were defeated by Lafayette 7-0, dropping to 1-4 (0-3 Patriot League).

In No. 1 singles Matt Wierzel (Garden City, N.Y.) played tough but was not able to pull out a victory against Matt McGranaghan, falling 4-6, 7-6 (7-5), 1-0 (10-8). At No. 2 singles Angelo Sica (Chester, N.J.) put in a good show but came up short against Eric Wiley, 2-6, 6-4, 6-0.

The Crusaders are set to compete again on April 10 at Connecticut. Start time is set for 3:30 p.m.
