BOSTON, Mass. - The Holy Cross men's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to Boston University on Wednesday afternoon at the Terriers' Track & Tennis Center. The Crusaders fall to 1-5 in the spring season with the loss, while Boston University now stands 7-8 this spring.
Senior Brian Kelly (Winchester, Mass.) picked up the lone victory of the day for Holy Cross, defeating Charles Weinstein at No. 2 singles. Kelly dropped the first set 7-5, but was leading 3-2 in the second set when Weinstein was forced to retire due to injury.
The Crusaders are scheduled to return to action on Friday, March 30, when they play host to Fordham at 3:30 p.m.
