Holy Cross Men's Tennis Defeated By Fairfield, 7-0

WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross men's tennis team fell to Fairfield, 7-0, on Saturday afternoon at the Holy Cross Tennis Courts. With the loss, the Crusaders fall to 1-7, while the Stags improve to 8-0.

The Stags earned the doubles point as they won all three matches. The No. 3 doubles match was won by an 8-6 score as junior Dan Phelan (Chicopee, Mass.) and freshman Chris Das (Melrose, Mass.) were defeated by Ryan Berthod and Chris Piasecki in the close match. Fairfield won all six singles matches in straight sets to earn the 7-0 win.

The Crusaders return to action on Wednesday, March 25, when they play Springfield at the Holy Cross Tennis Courts at 3:00 p.m.
