Men's Tennis Falls To BC, 7-0

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Holy Cross men's tennis team fell to Boston College, 7-0, on Friday evening. With the loss, the Crusaders fall to 1-6, while the Eagles improve to 11-5.

The Eagles earned the doubles point as they won all three matches. In the No. 1 singles match, sophomore Matt Wierzel (Garden City, N.Y.) had a hard fought match as he lost in three sets, 2-6, 6-4, 10-5, to Adam Davison. Boston College took the other five singles matches in straight sets.

The Crusaders return to action on March 21, when they will play Fairfield at the Holy Cross Tennis Courts at 12:00 p.m.
