Men’s Tennis Names 2013-2014 Team Captains

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross men's tennis program has named senior Ryan Sullivan (Medfield, Mass.) and senior Chris Brosnan (Garden City, N.Y.) as 2013-2014 team captains.  

Sullivan will serve as the Crusaders' captain for the second consecutive year. In two of his three seasons with Holy Cross, Sullivan has led the team in singles wins. Along with playing at either No. 1 or No. 2 singles, Sullivan played No. 1 doubles for the entirety of the 2012-2013 season. Sullivan is a political science major and serves as a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

Brosnan led the 2012–2013 Crusaders in doubles wins. Those wins included winning the B Flight doubles crown at the Stonehill Doubles Invitational as well as the Connecticut College Tournament. Brosnan has been named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll in each of his first three seasons and has twice been named to the Academic All-Patriot League team. He has also been a member of the Holy Cross Leadership Academy for the past two years.   

The Holy Cross men's tennis team kicks off its 2013 fall schedule on Saturday, Sept. 7 at the Stonehill Doubles Invitational.
