Men's Tennis Names 2012-2013 Team Captains

Jeff Paadre

WORCESTER, Mass. The Holy Cross men's tennis program has named senior Jeff Paadre (Sutton, Mass.) and junior Ryan Sullivan (Medfield, Mass.) as 2012-2013 team captains.

Paadre has recorded an overall record of 3-2 in singles and an overall record of 2-4 in doubles throughout his Holy Cross tennis career. During the 2011-2012 seasons Paadre went 1-0 overall at singles, 2-0 in doubles play and won the D Draw at the Stonehill Doubles Invitational. On Sept. 8, 2012 Paadre made it to the semifinals at the 2012 Stonehill Doubles Invitation. Paadre is a two time member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, earning accolades during the 2010-2011 season, as well as the 2011-2012 season.

Ryan Sullivan

Sullivan has recorded an overall record of 11-22 in singles and an overall record of 8-22 in doubles throughout his Holy Cross tennis career. As a freshman, Sullivan led the team with eight wins in singles action. During the 2011-2012 season he went 3-8 overall at singles and 4-8 in doubles play. Sullivan registered a 1-4 record at No. 1 singles and 2-4 at No. 2 singles. At the 2012 Stonehill Doubles Invitational, Sullivan won the Consolation Bracket, defeating Endicott College 8-4.

The Holy Cross men's tennis team will be playing in the Connecticut College Tournament on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012 at 10:00 am.
