Men's Tennis Competes At Stonehill Doubles Invtitational

EASTON, Mass. – The Holy Cross men's tennis team won two of the four flights at the Stonehill Doubles Invitational held at the Charles Watt Tennis Courts, kicking off the fall season. Junior Chris Brosnan (Garden City, N.Y.) and freshman Rich DeGregoris (Rockville Centre, N.Y.) won the B flight, while senior Tim Regan (Rockville Centre, N.Y.) and sophomore Nick Berrettini (Haverford, Pa.) won the C flight.

Brosnan and DeGregoris defeated teams from Eastern Nazarene and St. Anselm to get to the finals, and then defeated Stonehill by an 8-2 score to win the title. Regan and Berrettini defeated Salve Regina and Stonehill to reach the finals, and then earned the championship by defeating St. Anselm, 8-3.  

Holy Cross will play at the Connecticut College Tournament at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22.
