Men's Tennis Continues Non-Conference Action

- The Holy Cross men's tennis team returns to action on Thursday, April 12 when it hosts Hartford. Match time is set for 3:30 p.m. at the Holy Cross Tennis Courts in Worcester, Mass. This match was rescheduled from an earlier date in March.
- The Hawks are currently 3-10 on the overall 2011-2012 season and have lost two matches in a row, including a 6-1 decision to Quinnipiac the last time out. The squad is also 1-6 on the road and will host Marist on April 11 before making the trip to Worcester. The Crusaders lost to the Hawks, 6-1, in the fall of 2010, breaking up a six-game win streak. Hartford then took a 6-1 decision in the spring of 2011 and has now won the last two against the Crusaders.
- Freshman Nick Berrettini (Haverford, Pa.) tallied two good wins in action last week. The newcomer posted two wins in the team's sweep of AIC, winning the No. 1 singles match and also pairing up with sophomore Ryan Sullivan (Medfield, Mass.) for a win at No. 1 doubles. His No. 1 singles win was his first collegiate win as the No. 1 singles player. He holds a 3-4 record in singles play overall on the season.
