Men's Tennis Picked Seventh In Patriot League Preseason Poll

WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross men's tennis team was selected to finish seventh in the 2012 Patriot League preseason poll as voted on by head coaches and sports information directors from around the league. Defending Patriot League champion Army was picked first, earning 72 points and 12 first-place votes.

Navy followed the Black Knights as the Midshipmen were selected to finish second with 59 points and two first-place votes. Rounding out the voting was Lehigh (51 points), Bucknell (40), Colgate (38), Lafayette (22) and Holy Cross (12).

The Crusaders played in five matches this fall, opening up at Stonehill with a doubles tournament. The squad finished with two wins and two losses overall.
