- The Holy Cross men's tennis team continues its fall slate with three matches this week. On Thursday, Sept. 28, the team will travel to Connecticut College to face the Camels at 3:30 p.m. The Crusaders will then return home, welcoming Clark to the Holy Cross Tennis Courts for an evening match on Friday, Sept. 30, starting at 6:00 p.m. The week's action wraps up at Wesleyan, where the Crusaders will play at 1:00 p.m. in Middletown, Conn.
- The Crusaders are looking to improve their record with Connecticut College, as they have gone 1-1 against the Camels in the past six seasons. Holy Cross will face Clark for the second time in the past six years, last coming out victorious 5-2 on Sept. 29, 2010.
- This will be the first time in over six seasons that Holy Cross and Wesleyan have played against each other. The team is currently 2-1 in dual match play and has beaten common opponent Nichols. The Cardinals last competed in the ITA Tournament which wrapped up on Sept. 25.
- Holy Cross's matches were postponed last week due to rain. Prior to this break, however, the Crusaders swept their two dual matches. Sophomore Connor McCann (Centerville, Mass.) finished with a team-best 2-0 record as he went 1-0 in the No. 4 singles match against Nichols and then 1-0 in the No. 6 singles match against Assumption. Every singles player came out with at least one win in singles play after that weekend as well.
