  • The Holy Cross men's tennis team continues its fall slate with one weekend match this week. On Saturday, Sept. 24, the team will welcome Wagner to the Holy Cross Tennis Courts starting at 12:00 p.m.
  • This will be the Crusaders' first meeting with Wagner in over six years. The Seahawks opened up their 2011 dual match slate with a 6-1 loss against La Salle and will play Patriot League foe Lafayette on Wednesday, Sept. 21 before coming to Worcester.
  • Holy Cross swept its two dual matches this past weekend. Sophomore Connor McCann (Centerville, Mass.) finished with a team-best 2-0 record as he went 1-0 in the No. 4 singles match against Nichols and then 1-0 in the No. 6 singles match against Assumption. Every singles player came out with at least one win in singles play after the weekend as well.
  • With their two wins, the Crusaders are off to their best start since starting 3-0 in the 2004-2005 season. That team ended up going 7-12 that year.
