- The Holy Cross men's tennis team completed the 2010-2011 campaign with a 4-0 loss against Lehigh in the first round of the Patriot League Championship, held on Friday, April 15. Lehigh went on to the championship round of the tournament, but fell to Army, 4-2. Army has now won 10 Patriot League tennis championships.
- This year's squad finishes with a record of 4-16 and is now 9-30 under the guidance of head coach Evan Gaudreau. The team won two matches this spring and two matches in the fall, topping Clark, Siena, AIC and Union.
- Senior Matt Wierzel (Garden City, N.Y.) finishes his career with a 6-14 record as a senior, completing his four years with an overall record of 38-35. He became the first Holy Cross men's tennis player to ever earn All-Patriot League honors as he was named to the second team his sophomore season. He was also the winner of two invitationals last season, winning the Wheaton and Stonehill invites. He has played as the team's No. 1 singles player since he arrived on campus his freshman season.
- As a team, Holy Cross won a total of 32 singles matches this season, including a team-high eight wins by freshman Ryan Sullivan (Medfield, Mass.). Sullivan completes his first-year campaign with an 8-14 record, including a 6-13 record in dual match play and a 2-1 record in tournament play.
