  • The Holy Cross men's tennis season plays in one last regular season match at home on Tuesday, April 12 against Springfield at 5:00 p.m. before preparing for the 2011 Patriot League Tournament, held Friday-Sunday, April 15-17. The seedings and times are to be determined, as the tournament will be hosted by Bucknell in Bethlehem, Pa.
  • The Springfield Pride are 3-3 on the season after losing to Coast Guard, 9-0, in their last match. The squad is also 0-1 on the road, last losing to the Bears of Coast Guard. The teams last met on March 24, 2010 with Holy Cross coming out with a 4-3 victory. Sophomore Scot Brownell (Plymouth, Mass.) won his first career singles match in the dual meet.
  • Holy Cross has received the No. 8 seed in the 2011 Patriot League Tournament, hosted by Lehigh. The team will play against the No. 2-seeded Mountain Hawks, who are 4-2 in league play this year. Lehigh swept the Crusaders, 7-0, earlier in the season.
  • Freshman Chris Brosnan (Garden City, N.Y.) won three of his four singles matches over the past week, topping AIC, Hartford and Union in the No. 4 singles spot. With the wins, he is now 3-10 in the No. 4 spot on the year and 4-15 overall.
