Men's Tennis Set To Play Boston University

- The Holy Cross men's tennis team plays in one match this week, traveling to Boston University for a 4:00 p.m. contest on Wednesday, March 30. The match will be played at the TTC Infield in Boston, Mass.
- The Terriers are 5-7 on the season and most recently lost a 4-3 match against Marist on March 26. The squad has a 0-1 record against Patriot League opponents, as they lost to Bucknell, 4-3, on March 18. The Crusaders were swept by the Terriers in Worcester this past fall, 7-0. The Terriers are riding a four-game win streak against the Crusaders into Wednesday's contest. They have won swept all of the last four matches, winning 7-0 in each.
- Senior Matt Wierzel (Garden City, N.Y.) is the only Holy Cross player currently on the roster to have topped a Terrier, as Wierzel beat out BU senior Jeff Chudacoff for the first time in five meetings to advance at the Connecticut Tennis Invitational last season.
- Holy Cross has yet to score one team point this spring. The Crusaders have been shut out of their last seven matches, and have lost by 7-0 scores in eight of the last nine matches. The last time the Crusaders earned a team point was against Hartford on Oct. 23 where they won the doubles point.
