Crusaders Set To Play Quinnipiac This Weekend

- The Holy Cross men's tennis continues its Connecticut travels to Quinnipiac on Sunday, Feb. 27, wrapping up the month's action. The match will be held at the Quinnipiac tennis courts in Hamden, Conn., beginning at 3:00 p.m.
- The team's played each other last spring for the first time since the 2005-2006 season. The Crusaders fell against the Bobcats, 7-0, last year with every singles player losing in straight sets. Quinnipiac has now swept Holy Cross in three straight matches, dating back to Feb. 19, 2005.
- This will be the third dual-match for Quinnipiac this spring season as the squad was picked first in its NEC preseason poll. The team most recently competed against Fordham last weekend, sweeping the Rams 7-0 and now enter Sunday's contest with a 1-2 record on the spring.
- Junior Chris Das (Melrose, Mass.) played in his first match of the season as the team's No. 1 singles player against Sacred Heart on Saturday. He fell in straight sets, as his career record as a No.1 singles player now stands at 1-1. Das played at No. 1 singles against AIC last season, winning in three sets.
