Men's Tennis Picked Seventh In Patriot League Preseason Poll

WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross men's tennis team was selected to finish seventh in the 2011 Patriot League preseason poll as voted on by head coaches and sports information directors from around the league. Defending Patriot League champion Navy was picked first, earning 70 points and 10 first-place votes.

Army followed the Midshipmen, as the Black Knights were selected to finish second with 64 points and four first-place votes. Rounding out the voting was Bucknell (44 points), Lehigh (40), Colgate (39), Lafayette (25) and Holy Cross (12).

The Crusaders open up the spring portion of their 2010-2011 slate on Saturday, Feb. 12, playing at Coast Guard on its tennis courts in New London, Conn. Match time is set for 1:00 p.m.
