Men's Tennis Picked Seventh In Patriot League Preseason Poll

WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross men's tennis team was selected to finish seventh in the 2010 Patriot League preseason poll as voted on by head coaches and sports information directors from around the league. Defending Patriot League champion Navy was picked first, earning 69 points and nine first-place votes.

Army followed the Midshipmen, as the Black Knights were selected to finish second with 60 points and four first-place votes. Rounding out the voting was Colgate (48 points), Bucknell (42), Lehigh (39), Lafayette (22) and Holy Cross (14). Colgate received one first-place vote.

After falling to Sacred Heart in the second match of the spring season, Holy Cross will take two weeks off from competition before traveling to play Quinnipiac on March 14. Matches are set to begin at 2:00 p.m. in Hamden, Conn.
