Holy Cross Men's Tennis Releases 2010 Spring Schedule
WORCESTER, Mass. - Holy Cross athletic director Richard M. Regan, Jr. and head coach Evan Gaudreau announced the Holy Cross men's tennis 2010 spring slate today. The team will jump right into the season on Feb. 13 when they play Coast Guard in New Britain, Conn.
Eleven other matches complete the schedule, with three of the events hosted by Holy Cross at the Holy Cross Tennis Courts. The team will play Sacred Heart in New Haven, Conn. on Feb 20. The team then travels on March 14 to play Quinnipiac in Hamden, Conn. and will then return on March 24 to play Springfield in Springfield, Mass. The Crusaders will play their first Patriot League match against Army on March 26 in West Point N.Y. That same weekend on March 27 and 28, the team will play Lafayette and Lehigh also in West Point, N.Y. The team's first home event will be held March 30 in a match with Nichols. Following that match will be two other home events on April 6 where they will play AIC and April 7 where they will play Hartford. The team then travels to Smithfield, R.I. to play Bryant on April 10.
Rounding out the spring season will be the Patriot League Tournament, held from April 23-25 in Lewisburg, Pa.
