2007-2008 Patriot League Swimming & Diving Polls Announced

WORCESTER, Mass. - The 2007-2008 Patriot League polls have been voted on for the men's and women's swimming and diving season. After all coaches and all sports information directors have voted for this season, Navy has placed first for both the men and women. On the men's side the votes went with Navy in first with 98 points followed in second by Army with 85 points and Bucknell in third (74 points). Colgate (51 points), Lehigh (48 points), American (40 points), Lafayette (36 points) and Holy Cross (16 points) rounded out the men's poll.
On the women's side Navy would earn first place with 96 points followed by Colgate in second with 85 points and Bucknell in third (77 points). Army (56 points), Lafayette (46 points), Lehigh (38 points), American (36 points) and Holy Cross (16 points) completed the women's poll.
The swimming and diving teams will compete in their second meet this Wednesday, October 24, against Springfield at home at 6:00 p.m.
